Natural Gas Treating
membrane separation
Gas membrane separation technology is a precise process that selectively separates gases by permeation rate based on either size selectivity or solubility selectivity, depending on the membrane type selected. There is a large range of applications where membrane separation is the optimal choice to achieve the following:
Fuel Gas Conditioning
LPG Recovery
Nitrogen Removal
CO2 Removal
H2S Removal
Dehydration
Carbon Capture
Natural Gas / fuel gas letdown
JCI’s Natural Gas Letdown Solutions are engineered in accordance with local codes and our client’s specifications, typically comprising of:
Inlet Separator / Scrubber and/or Fuel Gas Coalescer
Gas heaters / exchangers
Pressure regulation / control
Gas metering
Pressure vessels in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 with U Stamp
Pressure piping in accordance with ASME B31.3
Mounted on structural steel skid
Optional control panel
gas treating with desiccants
Desiccants can be used to remove specific contaminants through adsorption. Molecular sieve, silica gel, activated alumina, and activated carbon are common desiccants depending on the contaminant. Applications include:
Gas dehydration
VOC removal
Odor control
Mercaptan removal
H2S removal
scavenging solutions
A range of liquid or solid scavenging solutions are available.
H2S removal
